The Kikusui PLZ6000R is a regenerative DC electronic load delivering 6000W maximum power across dual voltage/current ranges: 30V @ 400A or 60V @ 200A. It converts load power into reusable electrical energy with regeneration efficiency of 85% or higher, reaching 90% or more at 2000W operation, with maximum regenerated power of 5600 VA. This approach eliminates heat dissipation waste typical of conventional loads.
The unit operates in six modes: Constant Current (CC), Constant Resistance (CR), Constant Voltage (CV), Constant Power (CP), and combined CC+CV or CR+CV configurations. A soft start feature offers selectable ramp times of 20 ms, 50 ms, 100 ms, or 200 ms. The sequence function supports up to 256 steps across 10 programs, enabling complex load profile simulation and transient response testing.
