The Lambda/TDK LK340A is a programmable DC power supply delivering regulated constant voltage and constant current output with remote sensing and electronic load protection. It accommodates dual AC input ranges (105–132 VAC standard, or 187–242 VAC with suffix “v”) at 57–63 Hz, with 10% current derating for 50 Hz operation. The supply features front-panel coarse and fine adjustment controls for voltage and current, coupled with automatic electronic current limiting settable to 105% of rated output. Voltage regulation maintains less than 10 mA or 0.1% (whichever is greater) across line and load variations. Output ripple and noise are specified at 500 µV RMS (20 MHz bandwidth) with a temperature coefficient of 0.015%/°C. Constant current regulation achieves 0.015% or 1 mV (whichever is greater) for both line and load transients. Remote sensing eliminates lead-resistance effects on DC output regulation, while remote programmability via voltage or resistance input (nominal 200 ohms/volt) enables external control. The supply includes fused protection on both AC input and load circuits, automatic thermal shutdown with reset, and provisions for external overvoltage protection modules. Heavy-duty rear-mounted terminal blocks provide power connections.
