The LeCroy 8100A is a 1.0 GHz digital oscilloscope engineered for precision waveform capture and analysis across demanding signal integrity applications. It delivers 10 GS/s sampling on four channels, 20 GS/s on two or one channel, and up to 100 Mpts memory depth. The instrument combines SiGe analog front-end components with advanced triggering—including a 5 GHz edge trigger bandwidth and SMART Trigger capable of capturing glitches to 600 ps—to isolate transient events with <2.5 ps jitter. X-Stream technology accelerates data processing 10–100× faster than conventional oscilloscopes, while the intuitive GUI and context-sensitive interface reduce setup time. Deep memory support, optional math packages, and proprietary tool integration (MATLAB, Mathcad, Excel) enable custom analysis workflows. Internal waveform storage across four dedicated memory banks, plus file-based setup archiving to hard drive or USB, rounds out the platform.
