The Logimetrics A600IJ is a traveling wave tube (TWT) microwave amplifier delivering 200 watts CW across the 8.0 GHz to 18.0 GHz band. Built for high-power RF applications requiring signal fidelity and reliable operation, this amplifier provides 30 dB minimum gain with controlled spurious output at -40 dBc typical (-50 dBc available). The unit incorporates regulated power supplies for helix, filament, and grid circuits to ensure stable TWT performance and extended tube life. Dual internal forced-air cooling with front-panel intake maintains thermal stability under continuous operation.
Designed for rack mounting in test facilities and operational environments, the A600IJ accepts Type N input and delivers output via WRD750 connector. Real-time monitoring includes collector current, collector voltage, and helix current meters, with status indication for power state, RF mode, and five fault conditions: helix overcurrent, VSWR overload, power supply thermal limits, TWT thermal limits, and airflow interruption. Local and remote control modes support both manual and automated test sequences.
