The Marconi IFR Aeroflex 2957D Radio Test System delivers integrated signal generation, modulation analysis, spectrum analysis, and power measurement in a single portable platform. Built for radio manufacturers, service technicians, and communication system operators, this instrument combines benchtop precision with field-deployable capability. The 2957D supports AM, FM, PM, and pulse modulation across its operating range, with dual-tone internal oscillator generation and external modulation input. Spectrum analysis spans 100 Hz to full-span resolution over a 50 dB dynamic range. Audio analysis includes SINAD metering (5–50 dB) and frequency measurement to 500 kHz. RF power measurement handles continuous operation from 0.05 mW to 75 W, with peak ratings to 150 W. P25 trunked radio testing features OSP message programming, ISP decode, and support for Explicit, SCCB, and Adjacent Status Broadcast messaging.
