The Marconi IFR Aeroflex 3283 is a high-performance spectrum analyzer covering 3 Hz to 26.5 GHz with advanced digital signal processing for precision spectral analysis across design and production environments. It delivers level accuracy of ±0.15 dB up to 3 GHz and exceptional noise floor performance (DANL <-150 dBm/Hz), supported by a fully synthesized local oscillator with 1 Hz resolution and excellent phase noise characteristics. The instrument combines a large 10.4-inch TFT color display with flexible dual-window trace capability, nine marker functions, and comprehensive measurement tools including channel power, occupied bandwidth, spectrum emission mask, TOI measurement, harmonic distortion, and phase noise analysis. Optional digital demodulation with 36 MHz analysis bandwidth and streaming LVDS output enables advanced signal capture and post-processing workflows.
