The Measurement Computing/IOtech TempScan 1100 is a high-speed temperature and voltage scanning instrument for precision multi-channel data acquisition. It combines thermocouple, RTD, and DC/AC voltage measurement capabilities in a compact, rack-mountable enclosure. The system scans up to 960 channels/second at 60 Hz line cycle, delivering 16-bit resolution with ±0.5°C accuracy on J-type thermocouples. Channel isolation reaches 10 V channel-to-channel and 500 V channel-to-system. Built-in memory of 128 KB is expandable to 4 MB for extended logging sessions. The instrument features solid-state multiplexing, a real-time clock for time-stamped acquisition, 32 TTL digital alarm outputs, and 8 TTL digital inputs with trigger support. Standard interfaces include IEEE 488 and RS-232/422, with optional USB connectivity and Hayes-compatible modem support.
