The National Instruments PXI-6602 is a timing and synchronization module for PXI systems, delivering eight 32-bit counter/timers and 32 digital I/O lines. It measures encoder position, counts events, and generates precise pulses and pulse trains at source frequencies up to 125 MHz with prescaling. The module supports three simultaneous high-speed DMA transfers via MITE PCI interface, operates in both PXI Express hybrid and standard PXI slots, and connects through a 68-pin SCSI connector. Engineered for data acquisition, automated test, and motion control, it provides 5 V TTL/CMOS compatible I/O with digital filtering and Schmitt trigger hysteresis.
