The Newport 2936-R is a benchtop optical power meter for single-channel measurement of optical power and energy across CW, pulsed, and modulated light sources. RoHS compliant, it delivers sub-picowatt noise performance with photodiode detectors and supports three detector families—photodiode, thermopile, and pyroelectric—via hot-swappable connectors. The instrument handles pulse frequencies to 250 kHz and integrates true RMS measurement, programmable analog and digital filtering, and real-time statistical analysis on a 5.7-inch full-color TFT LCD.
