The Newport 850G is a motorized linear actuator for precision positioning in optics, photonics, microscopy, and industrial automation. It delivers 2 inches (50.8 mm) of travel with sub-micron repeatability and is fully compatible with Newport’s ESP electronic servo platform controllers. Its compact side-by-side motor and leadscrew configuration minimizes cantilever loads while enabling direct replacement of manual micrometers in existing translation stages.
