It commands up to eight axes of synchronized or independent motion using Newport DC or stepper motors, delivering 500 W of integrated motor drive power. An 80-bit floating-point processor at 133 MHz executes a digital PID-FF servo loop with 300 µs cycle time (500 µs for 5–8 axes), ensuring high-resolution trajectory control and accurate velocity profile tracking. The 16-bit DC motor command output enables smooth, repeatable positioning across synchronized point-to-point, jogging, linear, and circular interpolation modes. Advanced contouring capabilities support 2D continuous-path motion without complex programming.
