The Newport PTS-OPM is a modular optical power meter designed for integration into Newport Model 8800 and 8200 Photonics Test System mainframes. Available in single-channel (PTS-OPM-1) and dual-channel (PTS-OPM-2) configurations, this module delivers benchtop-class optical power measurement within an automated test platform. It supports both free-space and fiber optic measurements across an extended spectral range from 190 nm to 1800 nm, making it suitable for laser diode testing, fiber alignment, and assembly applications. The module utilizes Newport 918 Series low-power semiconductor detectors and maintains backward compatibility with 818 Series detectors via optional adapter cable.
