The NI GPIB-1014DP is a double-height VMEbus interface card that bridges GPIB-enabled instruments with VMEbus systems. It translates signals between these two distinct bus architectures, enabling instrument control, data acquisition, and automated testing. The card implements full GPIB controller functions—including talker/listener, serial and parallel poll, and service request—while conforming to IEEE 488.1 and IEEE 1014 VMEbus standards.
