The NI PXI-1020 is an 8-slot PXI chassis engineered for automated testing, data acquisition, and industrial control applications. This benchtop platform accommodates one system controller, three expansion slots, and seven peripheral slots—including a dedicated Star Trigger slot at position 2 that provides high-precision 10 MHz clock distribution and dedicated trigger lines to each peripheral. The chassis fully implements PXI triggering and timing extensions, ensuring seamless interoperability with standard CompactPCI (PICMG 2.0 R 2.1) and PXI-compatible modules.
