The Nicolet HB-3 v32/v44 is a passive headbox designed for EEG signal acquisition in legacy Nicolet neurodiagnostic systems. This interface component connects to either the v32 or v44 amplifier, enabling electrode-to-amplifier signal coupling for the Nicolet Monitor, NicoletOne EEG/PSG systems, and related platforms. The headbox derives operating power directly from the connected amplifier and features a glow-in-the-dark overlay for clinical environments.

– Compatibility & Integration
The HB-3 interfaces with Nicolet v32 and v44 amplifiers via dedicated DC inputs. Associated amplifiers feature auxiliary input pairs (AC or DC) and high-level DC inputs—v32 provides one high-level DC input; v44 provides twelve. The v32 amplifier communicates with NicoletOne System computers via Ethernet. NicoletOne software supports spike and seizure detection, trend analysis, topographic brain mapping, and optional sleep analysis packages.
