The North Atlantic 214C-S-1279-400 is a resolver/converter engineered for industrial and aerospace applications, delivering precise position and velocity feedback in demanding environments. This instrument combines mechanical reliability with field-proven performance across refineries, chemical plants, oil and gas operations, power generation, and cryogenic systems.
Technical Specifications
The 214C-S-1279-400 features a 4.5 inch (115 mm) dial with ±0.5% of span accuracy to ASME B40.100, Grade 2A. The movement comprises 400 Series stainless steel construction with Teflon®-coated pinion gear and segment, paired with a micrometer-adjustable pointer. Dial background is aluminum with black figures and intervals.
Pressure measurement capability spans vacuum through compound to 30,000 psi (2,000 bar) maximum range. The solid front safety case with pressure relief back provides operator protection, while the phenolic case material delivers chemical resistance. Multiple window options include standard glass, acrylic, shatter-proof glass, and non-glare variants.
