The North Atlantic VXI-5388 is a C-size VXI card that performs high-accuracy synchro and resolver signal measurement and simulation. Operating as both an Angle Position Indicator (API) and Synchro/Resolver Simulator (SIM), it delivers 0.001° accuracy across a full 0 to 359.999° angular range with 0.001° resolution. The module uses message-based serial communication compliant with VXIbus specifications and includes automatic phase correction for stator-rotor phase shifts up to 80°. Settling time for 180° step changes is 2 seconds, with maximum tracking rate of 150°/sec. Dual-channel architecture provides independent measurement and simulation functionality.
