The ACC-5E is a UMAC MACRO interface board that bridges UMAC motion control systems to external devices through Delta Tau’s real-time MACRO protocol. Housed in a 3U Eurocard form factor (100 x 160 mm), it connects to the CPU board via the UBUS backplane expansion port and enables high-speed communication across industrial automation networks. The board supports configurable 16-node or 32-node MACRO-ring topologies with communication range up to 1 km, facilitating control of up to 16 motors and 864 bits of I/O.
