The Power Design 6150D is a single-output DC power supply engineered for laboratory and industrial applications requiring stable, regulated power. It delivers 0–60 V DC with output current ranging from 15 A at 0–6 V down to 2 A at 0–60 V across four selectable ranges. Built on UNIPLY® circuit technology (Patent #3,699,352), the unit achieves exceptional line and load regulation of 0.01% + 1 millivolt, with voltage ripple-noise below 0.16 mV P-P under full load and temperature stability better than 0.01%/°C. Dual analog meters monitor output voltage and current independently, each with dual ranges. Voltage and current control use precious metal contact potentiometers delivering 20 millivolt resolution (0–6 V range) and 10 mA resolution (0–15 A range), respectively. Single-turn wire wound potentiometers govern voltage and current limiting. Front panel connections employ three insulated 5-way binding posts; eight rear panel screw terminals support remote sensing, remote voltage programming, and parallel operation. The supply operates from 105–125 VAC, 47–440 Hz, within ambient temperatures of 0–50 °C. Long-term stability holds better than 0.01% + 5 millivolts per 24 hours under constant line, load, and ambient conditions after warm-up.
