The Ribbon/Performance Technologies CPC7301-11972 Intelligent Shelf Manager (ISM) is a 3U single-slot CompactPCI card that delivers centralized management, monitoring, and alarming for network equipment shelves. Built to PICMG® 2.0 R3.0, PICMG 2.1 R2.0, PICMG 2.9, and IPMI v1.5 standards, the ISM provides real-time sensor monitoring, predictive failure analysis, and remote management across up to 21 slots, eight power supplies, and four fan trays. Redundant ISM configurations ensure high availability through dedicated ISM-to-ISM synchronization links and automatic failover. The card captures threshold-crossing events and component failures, generating SNMP traps and driving telecom alarm relays and LEDs. Management interfaces include SNMP, RMCP, CLI, API, and web access.
