Rigol DG5071 – 70 MHz Function/Arbitrary Waveform Generator, 1 channel, 128 M

The Rigol DG5071 is a single-channel, 70 MHz arbitrary waveform generator that delivers stable, precise signals across function generation, arbitrary waveform synthesis, and modulated baseband/IF applications. Built on Direct Digital Synthesizer (DDS) technology, it combines a 1 GSa/s sample rate with 14-bit vertical resolution and 128 Mpts memory depth to support complex signal creation and editing. The instrument generates standard waveforms—sine, square, ramp, pulse, noise, and specialized shapes including ECG, Gauss, and exponential profiles—alongside user-defined arbitrary waveforms up to 512 kpts in editing length. Signal purity is assured through harmonic distortion below −45 dBc and spurious content below −50 dBc at 0 dBm across the operating range. Full modulation support includes AM, FM, PM, ASK, FSK, PSK, PWM, and advanced IQ vector modulation with QPSK/QAM formats. Optional frequency hopping with 80 ns intervals and pattern generation extend capability for specialized test sequences. Amplitude spans 5 mVpp to 10 Vpp into 50 Ω loads, with frequency resolution to 1 µHz. The 50 Ω output impedance integrates directly into standard RF test benches.
