The Rigol DSG3030 with IQ is a 3.0 GHz RF signal generator delivering precise signal generation and modulation across 9 kHz to 3 GHz. Built for advanced RF testing and development, this instrument combines analog modulation (AM, FM, PM), pulse modulation with on/off ratios to 80 dB, and optional I/Q modulation with internal baseband data sourcing. The -IQ variant includes an internal I/Q modulator supporting both internal and external modulation signals, paired with IQ Station software for custom data generation. Output amplitude spans -130 dBm to +13 dBm with typical accuracy better than 0.5 dB. Phase noise measures <-110 dBc/Hz at 20 kHz offset. A standard 0.5 ppm internal reference clock can be upgraded to 5 ppb via the optional OCXO-A08 high-stability module. The 2U rack-mountable design includes a 4.3-inch TFT display and operates from 100 V to 240 V mains. Full SCPI command control is available via USB (host and device), LAN (LXI-C compliant), and GPIB interfaces. Automatic flatness calibration integrates with the optional PMC-DSG3000 power meter controller for direct RF power sensor readings.
