The Rohde & Schwarz HE400 Handheld Directional Antenna is a modular signal detection and direction-finding system for locating transmitters and interference sources across an extensive frequency range. The platform comprises an antenna handle, cable sets, and interchangeable antenna modules, with polarization control for vertical or horizontal signal reception. Its distinct directional radiation pattern delivers unambiguous measurement results and precise source localization. The system operates in normal mode—with distinct maximum signal pointing forward—and delta mode, which features a steep-edge indent at boresight for faster and more accurate signal identification. Wide dynamic range is achieved through switchable active (LNA on) and passive (LNA off) modes. The lightweight, ergonomic design incorporates trigger and toggle buttons on the handle for direct receiver control, enabling fatigue-free field operation.
