Equipment info

The Rohde & Schwarz HMO3034 is a 300 MHz mixed-signal oscilloscope built for embedded systems validation and complex signal analysis. It combines four analog channels with optional 8 or 16 digital channels, delivering 4 GSa/s sampling and up to 8 Mpts memory depth for detailed waveform capture. Hardware-based triggering and decoding support I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, and LIN protocols via optional upgrades, while integrated logic triggering handles TTL, CMOS, ECL, and user-defined thresholds. The instrument integrates 28 auto-measurement parameters, dual-channel DVM, 6-digit counter, and advanced math functions including FFT analysis to 64 kPts. Segmented memory (optional R&S HOO14) divides acquisition into up to 1000 segments, enabling waveform capture rates to 200,000 Wfm/s. A 3-digit DVM operates simultaneously across all analog channels. FFT supports selectable windowing algorithms (Hamming, Hanning, Blackman, Rectangular) up to 128,000 points in dBm, dBV, or Vrms units. Pass/fail testing with mask-based detection and automatic event search streamline validation workflows.
