The Rohde & Schwarz NRP-Z41 is a three-path diode power sensor that measures average power across 50 MHz to 40 GHz with a dynamic range reaching 90 dB. Operating from 200 pW to 100 mW (-67 dBm to +20 dBm), the sensor employs three optimized diode paths to deliver high-accuracy measurements independent of modulation type while rejecting harmonic interference.
This sensor executes continuous average, burst average, timeslot average, time-gated, trace mode, and statistical measurements at speeds up to 1500 measurements/s in buffered mode. The three-path architecture ensures 87 dB dynamic range for CW and modulated signals, with measurement accuracy largely unaffected by signal modulation characteristics or interfering signals.

– Compatibility & Integration
The NRP-Z41 operates with R&S NRP and NRP2 base units or connects directly to PC/laptop via USB. Interface adapters include the R&S NRP-Z3 (active USB adapter cable) and R&S NRP-Z4 (passive USB adapter cable). External triggering is supported through the NRP-Z3 or R&S NRP-Z5 sensor hub. Software control requires the R&S NRP Toolkit.
