The Rohde & Schwarz NRP67T is a thermal power sensor delivering high-accuracy measurements from DC to 67 GHz. It measures power across a dynamic range of –35 dBm to +20 dBm (300 nW to 100 mW) with exceptional linearity of 0.007 dB up to 67 GHz. The sensor connects via 1.85 mm (m) connector and interfaces through USB, with optional LAN connectivity on select models.
Measurement uncertainty ranges from 0.040 dB to 0.248 dB for absolute power at +20°C to +25°C, while relative measurements achieve 0.010 dB. Impedance matching (SWR) remains excellent across the frequency spectrum: better than 1.03 from DC to 100 MHz, better than 1.06 from 100 MHz to 2.4 GHz, and progressively optimized through 67 GHz. The sensor is immune to thermal environmental effects.
Speed defines performance in this class. Fast continuous average mode delivers up to 50,000 readings/s. Buffered mode provides over 500 measurements/s, with triggered measurements three times faster than comparable solutions. An internal calibration test verifies measurement stability and reliability.
The NRP67T operates with the R&S NRP2 base unit or directly via USB with a laptop or PC. It integrates with Rohde & Schwarz signal generators, signal and spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers. A detachable cable supports flexible field deployment.
