The Rohde & Schwarz SMBV100B is a vector signal generator engineered for R&D, production, and demanding wireless test environments. Operating from 8 kHz to either 3 GHz or 6 GHz, it delivers superior signal quality with output power reaching +34 dBm at 1 GHz and +31 dBm at 6 GHz. The instrument supports modulation bandwidths up to 500 MHz with <0.3 dB amplitude flatness, achieving exceptional EVM performance of 0.2% for LTE signals and 0.4% for 160 MHz 802.11ac signals. An integrated high-performance baseband enables 1 GHz modulation bandwidth with perfect accuracy, while very low phase noise of <–134 dBc SSB at 1 GHz (20 kHz offset) ensures signal integrity. The SMBV100B includes native signal generation for 5G NR, LTE, and WLAN standards, full GNSS simulation capability (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS/SBAS), and an intuitive 7" touchscreen interface. Superior signal quality at high output power eliminates the need for external amplifiers in many test setups.
