The Rohde & Schwarz RTO1022 is a 2-channel digital oscilloscope with 2 GHz bandwidth designed for signal integrity analysis and transient capture. Operating at 10 GS/s per channel with up to 40 Msample memory depth per channel, it delivers 1,000,000 waveforms per second acquisition rate for rapid fault detection. The 16-bit vertical resolution enables precise measurement of small signal amplitudes, while the digital trigger system provides low-jitter, high-sensitivity triggering across full bandwidth. Edge, glitch, width, runt, window, and pattern triggering are standard; optional serial decoding supports UART/RS-232, LIN, CAN, and FlexRay protocols. Hardware-accelerated analysis includes spectrum analysis (FFT), histogram, mask test, and over 90 automated measurement functions. The instrument features selectable AC/DC/GND input coupling, configurable input impedance (1 MΩ or 50 Ω), and an 8.4″ or 10.4″ XGA color touch screen. Always-on history mode captures rare signal events, while power analysis and EMI debugging tools address specialized measurement requirements. Packaged in a compact form factor (427 mm × 249 mm × 204 mm) consuming 400 W, the RTO1022 integrates waveform math, algebraic and logical operations, and hardware-based mask triggering for comprehensive signal analysis workflows.
