The HP 70951B is a diffraction-grating-based optical spectrum analyzer module designed for spectral measurements of optical power versus wavelength across the 600 to 1700 nm range. It characterizes optical components, amplifiers, LEDs, DFB lasers, and Fabry-Perot lasers with high wavelength accuracy and excellent amplitude fidelity. The module integrates into the HP 71451B Optical Spectrum Analyzer System and the 70000 Modular Measurement System, requiring installation in either an HP 70004A display or HP 70001A mainframe.
