The Spirent SR5500 Wireless Channel Emulator with Option AWGN is a modular RF test instrument for simulating complex radio channel conditions. It replicates fading, interference, and noise effects across LTE, HSPA, HSPA+, EV-DO, WLAN, and WiMAX standards. Engineers use it to characterize receiver performance, validate SISO and MIMO architectures, and accelerate development cycles by introducing realistic propagation impairments before field testing.
