The Stanford Research Systems SR474 is a four-channel laser shutter driver that provides independent control of up to four SR470 Series shutter heads. Built for precision optical experimentation, it combines manual front-panel control, external TTL triggering, and remote command interfaces (GPIB, RS-232, Ethernet) in a single instrument. The system minimizes vibration and mechanical noise to preserve optical table stability while delivering microsecond-level timing precision.
