The Symmetricom 58534A-H01 is an integrated GPS timing module that delivers precision time synchronization and a synchronized 1 PPS output for critical infrastructure applications. This all-in-one unit combines an antenna, GPS receiver, system interface, and power supply in a rugged, weatherproof enclosure, eliminating the need for separate components and reducing installation complexity.
Technical Specifications
The receiver employs 16 parallel channels operating at L1 1575.42 MHz with C/A code tracking. Signal processing includes 2-bit A/D conversion for noise reduction and SAW filtering for interference immunity. The 1 PPS output achieves synchronization to UTC within 110 ns at –95% probability when locked to satellites in Position Hold mode with at least one satellite acquired.
Reacquisition time following power loss is less than 20 seconds typical. A super-capacitor maintains RAM data for up to 2 hours, enabling rapid satellite reacquisition upon power restoration. Input voltage ranges from +8 V to +36 V DC, with power consumption below 1.5 watts.
