The TC Communications TC4001 is a passive, 2-channel wavelength division multiplexer (WDM) that doubles single-mode fiber capacity by transmitting bidirectional 1310nm and 1550nm signals over a single fiber strand. Format-transparent operation eliminates protocol dependencies, making it ideal for capacity expansion where new fiber installation is impractical.
