The VMIACC-5595-208 is a 2 Gb/s Reflective Memory Hub Assembly that delivers sub-microsecond latency for real-time, distributed data sharing across mission-critical systems. This SFP-based optical hub regenerates serial signals at each port, eliminating insertion losses and cable attenuation while reducing jitter. It supports up to eight ports with a combination of multimode and single-mode fiber transceivers, and scales to 256 nodes through cascading architecture. Automatic port bypassing responds to loss of signal or sync pattern detection, isolating faults without network interruption. The assembly operates from 21 VDC to 32 VDC with 15 W power consumption and includes dual management interfaces: 10BaseT Ethernet TCP/IP for remote LAN or web access, and RS232 for local serial control. Settings persist in NVRAM. Three status LEDs per port indicate signal loss and sync detect conditions. Multiple form factors accommodate DIN rail, 1U rack, or desktop deployment.
