The Tektronix MDO4054C is a 500 MHz mixed domain oscilloscope that integrates oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, and logic analyzer capabilities into a single instrument. It acquires analog, digital, and RF signals synchronously, enabling engineers to correlate behavior across multiple domains and accelerate embedded system debugging and design validation.

– Key Features
Digital Phosphor Technology with FastAcq® captures infrequent anomalies and renders waveforms with real-time color-intensity grading for transient analysis.
Advanced Triggering synchronizes acquisition across analog, digital, and RF domains with RF power-level triggering (MDO4TRIG option) for Sequence, Pulse Width, Timeout, Runt, and Logic triggers.
Waveform Analysis & Measurements provides histogram displays, numeric measurements, and automated analysis for voltage, current, power quality, switching loss, harmonics, ripple, modulation, and safe operating area.
Wave Inspector® enables rapid waveform navigation and automated event search across captured records.
Video Signal Support includes custom bi-level and tri-level sync standards with IRE/mV graticules, field holdoff, polarity selection, and autoset for video analysis.
– Typical Applications
Embedded system validation, RF/analog co-design debugging, power integrity analysis, video signal characterization, and multiprotocol signal correlation.
– Compatibility & Integration
Spectrum analyzer and RF triggering functionality require optional SA3, SA6, and MDO4TRIG modules.
