The Tektronix MSO71254C is a 12.5 GHz mixed-signal oscilloscope built for high-speed analog and digital signal analysis in embedded systems and complex debugging environments. It combines four analog channels with 16 digital channels, delivering simultaneous characterization of mixed-signal designs. The instrument captures signals at up to 50 GS/s across all four analog channels, or up to 100 GS/s on two channels, with deep memory reaching 250 Mpts and waveform capture rates exceeding 300,000 wfms/s. Advanced triggering—including real-time serial trigger at 6.25 Gb/s, pattern triggering, and Pinpoint® triggering—isolates elusive events. Digital channels provide 80 ps timing resolution and iCapture® capability to view analog characteristics without probe changes. The platform supports protocol analysis for PCI Express (Gen 1/2/3), MIPI D-PHY, Ethernet, USB 2.0, and over 150 industry-standard communications masks. DPOJET jitter and eye-diagram measurement, Serial Data Link Analysis (SDLA) Visualizer, and automated compliance testing accelerate validation of serial data links and signal integrity.
