Purpose-built for telecommunications, data communications, and optical component testing, the P6713 delivers DC to 300 MHz bandwidth across a 1100 to 1700 nm wavelength range (calibrated at 1300 nm). The instrument combines a 5 V/mW conversion gain with exceptionally low noise—less than 200 nW RMS—and sub-1.6 ns rise time, enabling high-fidelity characterization of fast optical waveforms. Its wide dynamic range of −7 dBm to −37 dBm and 50 Ω output impedance integrate with standard oscilloscope inputs via Tekprobe BNC interface or external Tektronix 1103 power supply compatibility.
