The TEKTRONIX USB-488 GPIB to USB Adapter bridges legacy GPIB instruments to modern USB-equipped computers. This IEEE 488.2-compliant interface adapter enables control and data acquisition from GPIB-equipped instruments via standard USB 2.0 connections, eliminating the need for dedicated GPIB controller cards. The adapter connects directly to instruments without hub support—one adapter controls one instrument. Power is drawn from the USB host (less than 500 mA at 5 VDC) or an optional external supply.
