The Teledyne LeCroy T3AFG500 is a 500 MHz, 2-channel function and arbitrary waveform generator engineered for high-fidelity signal synthesis across research and production test environments. Built on Digital Frequency Synthesis (DDS) technology enhanced with proprietary TrueArb and EasyPulse techniques, it delivers low-jitter outputs (100 ps rms cycle-to-cycle) and fast rise/fall times (2.4 ns minimum on square waves). The instrument generates standard waveforms—sine, square, ramp, pulse, and noise—plus 196 built-in arbitrary waveforms and user-defined signals up to 20 Mpts. Dual independent channels support flexible phase and amplitude control, waveform copying, and combining. Modulation capabilities span AM, DSB-AM, FM, PM, FSK, ASK, PSK, and PWM, with optional IQ modulation for advanced applications. Sweep and burst functions enable linear or logarithmic frequency sweeps (1 ms to 500 s) and N-cycle or gated burst modes with internal, external, or manual triggering.
