The Westar VAA HotLink Input and DVI Output Interface Module converts HotLink packet video signals into industry-standard DVI video formats for professional display and equipment integration. The module processes four channels of HotLink video input, each delivering 512H × 512V pixels in Red, Green1, Green2, and Blue. The VAA reformats incoming pixel data to center a 512 × 512 pixel image (Red, Green1, Blue) within an 800H × 600V SVGA output, compliant with VESA 900602 timing. A selectable state machine processes incoming HotLink packets and generates raster digital video output; if valid packets are suspended after receipt, the module outputs the most recently captured frame. Each of the four channels routes to independent DVI video output connectors, with analog outputs also available. The VAA accepts power via a standard IEC 320 inlet with a 250V, 1.6 A fast-acting fuse (5 × 20 mm), consuming approximately 0.6 A at 115 VAC. AC inlet safety ground connects directly to the rear ground lug via 16 AWG conductors.
