The Xantrex XDC20-1200/XDC40-600 series is a line of high-power, digital-controlled programmable DC power supplies engineered for demanding test environments. These units deliver clean, regulated power for automated test equipment (ATE), burn-in testing, magnet charging, and OEM integration. An embedded controller with menu-driven auto-sequencing enables creation and storage of complex test sequences directly from the front panel—no external software required.
Technical Specifications
Available in 6 kW and 12 kW configurations with output voltage ranges from 0-10 V to 0-600 V and current ranges from 0-10 A to 0-1200 A, depending on the selected model. Typical efficiency reaches 89% at nominal line voltage and ambient temperature. Voltage output noise and ripple vary by model, from 10 mV to 80 mV peak-to-peak (10 Hz–20 MHz). Voltage mode transient response time is 3 ms for load step changes (50% to 100% or 100% to 50%), with recovery within 0.75% of the output setting.
Zero voltage soft switching minimizes noise and maximizes efficiency. Integrated power factor correction (PFC) improves overall system performance. Constant power mode maintains stable output across load variations. The 6000 Watt models support current-sharing capability for parallel operation.
