The Xantrex XFR40 series comprises programmable DC power supplies engineered for high-power output, precise regulation, and low-noise performance in research, development, and production testing. Built on zero voltage soft-switching technology, these units deliver noise levels comparable to linear supplies while maintaining superior efficiency and reliability. The XFR40-30 provides 1200 W at 0–40 Vdc and 0–30 A; the XFR40-70 delivers 2800 W at 0–40 Vdc and 0–70 A. Both models operate from 190–264 VAC, 47–63 Hz input and feature excellent thermal design for rack-mount stacking without inter-unit ventilation requirements.
