The Agilent/Keysight 59307A is a dual single-pole, four-throw (SP4T) RF switch module designed for DC to 500 MHz signal routing in automated test systems. Each independent switch handles 50-ohm impedance lines with minimal insertion loss and isolation exceeding 40 dB at 100 MHz. The unit features nanosecond-class pulse rise times (1 ns) and a 20 ms relay settling time, enabling fast signal multiplexing for synthesizers, pulse generators, and measurement equipment.
Operation is available via front-panel pushbuttons or remote HP-IB control. The listen-only bus interface accepts ASCII commands to select one of four signal paths per switch group, with factory-default HP-IB address 25B. Ten BNC connectors (five per group) provide dedicated input/output access. The module draws maximum 10 VA or 50 VA depending on AC supply voltage (115 V or 230 V, ±10%, 50–400 Hz), protected by a 0.5 A slow-blow fuse.

– Compatibility & Integration
The 59307A operates as a listen-only HP-IB device. Remote control is achieved by transmitting ASCII character ‘A’ or ‘B’ followed by switch numbers 1–4 to select signal paths. Address configuration is set via rear-panel switch assembly (default: 25B). Local control via pushbutton is always available. The 24-pin HP-IB connector accepts standard HP 10631A/B/C cables.
