The Agilent/Keysight E1475A is a C-size VXI expander module that extends RF multiplexing capacity in test systems requiring 75 Ohm signal switching. It provides six independent 1×4 multiplexer channels with 75 Ω characteristic impedance, switching signals up to 1.3 GHz. The module operates as a slave expander and requires a master E1472A or E1474A RF multiplexer. Up to two E1475A expanders can cascade with a master multiplexer, yielding eighteen total 1×4 banks.
Insertion loss remains below 1.0 dB across the full 1.3 GHz bandwidth, with tighter performance at lower frequencies: <0.3 dB to 10 MHz, <0.4 dB to 100 MHz, and <0.8 dB to 500 MHz. Channel-to-channel crosstalk measures <–85 dB to 10 MHz and <–75 dB to 100 MHz. Closed-channel resistance is <1 Ω typical, while insulation resistance exceeds 10⁸ Ω between any two terminals at ≤40 °C and ≤65% RH. Maximum thermal offset is 6 µV.
All connections use SMB male connectors. The module occupies a single C-size VXI slot or can be rack-mounted externally up to 8 meters from the mainframe using remote extender cables, enabling flexible system layouts that minimize test cable length and signal delay.
