The Keysight U4205A is a 34-channel single-ended logic analyzer probe that connects directly to target systems via a 38-pin AMP MICTOR connector. It enables forward compatibility by allowing newer Keysight logic analyzers to interface with systems originally designed for the E5346A probe. The U4205A terminates to either Keysight 16850-series portable logic analyzers or U4154A AXIe-based modules through a 160-pin interface.

– Compatibility & Integration
Supported logic analyzers: Keysight 16851A, 16852A, 16853A, 16854A (16850-series), and U4154A AXIe module. Target system connection requires a probing connector kit such as the E5346-68701 or E5346-68700, which includes mating connectors and support shrouds. Complete circuit board layout guidance and transmission line considerations are documented for optimal measurement fidelity.
