The Astronics/EADS/Racal 1260-118 is an 80-channel SPST plug-in switch module engineered for high-density signal routing in automated test systems. The 1260-118A variant provides 24 channels. Both versions deliver Form A switching up to 2 A per channel with 100 MHz bandwidth and insertion loss below 0.5 dB at 100 kHz. This electromechanical module integrates directly into Astronics Adapt-a-Switch carriers (1260-100, 1260-101) and 1256-series switching mainframes via a 160-pin modified DIN connector (80-channel) or 64-pin connector (24-channel). Isolation exceeds 80 dB at 100 kHz; crosstalk remains below -80 dB at the same frequency. Channel-to-chassis capacitance is less than 200 pF, with open-channel capacitance below 20 pF. The module draws +5 VDC at 150 mA base current, plus 30 mA per energized relay.
