The Astronics / EADS / Racal 1260-64A is a VXIbus microwave switch module delivering high-performance RF signal routing from DC to 18 GHz. This double-slot, C-size unit integrates four SP6T coaxial switches with 50 Ω impedance and break-before-make operation, plus 32 SPST relays for external device control. Direct SMA front-panel connections minimize insertion loss and noise. Peak power handling reaches 400 W at 100 MHz, declining to 40 W at 18 GHz. The module operates on +5 VDC at 2.8 A and generates internal supplies of +5 V, +12 V, and +24 V for relay drive circuits. Designed for cellular, PCS, Satcom, and military telecommunications ATE platforms, it requires an Astronics Option 01T smart controller for command and monitoring. Terminated switch versions are available. Temperature-rated 0 °C to 60 °C operating, -40 °C to 75 °C storage.
