The Boonton 4400 RF Power Meter, often referred to as the Boonton 4400A, is a sophisticated instrument designed for the precise measurement and analysis of RF power in the time domain. It is engineered to capture and display power versus time waveforms for repetitive RF signals, making it suitable for applications such as radar, pulse bursts, GSM, TDMA, and broadcast transmitters. The Boonton 4400A offers advanced capabilities for analyzing RF signals where the relationship between power and time is critical for testing and calibration of RF equipment across various industries, including telecommunications, aerospace, and defense.

* Channel math functions for comparing active and reference traces.

* Statistical power mode (available on Model 4500A, which shares some architecture with 4400A).

* Data is adjusted for vertical offset, calibration factors, and averaging.
* Power can be displayed in watts (with 5 decimal digits of resolution) or dBm (with ±0.01 dB resolution).
* GPIB data buffer output is available.
