Equipment info

The DeFelsko PosiTector 6000 is a non-destructive ultrasonic thickness gauge that measures coating thickness on ferrous and non-ferrous metal substrates using magnetic and eddy current principles. Built on an interchangeable probe platform, it delivers 60+ readings per minute (90+ in FAST Mode) with measurement accuracy ranging from ±(0.05 mils + 1%) to ±(0.1 mil + 3%) depending on probe selection and range. The instrument features a 2.8″ impact-resistant color touchscreen, IP65-rated enclosure, and operates on three AAA alkaline batteries across a temperature range of +32° to +120°F (0° to +50°C).

Technical Specifications
