It delivers stable, accurate optical signals across tunable wavelengths in the C-band (1528 nm to 1565 nm) or L-band (1566 nm to 1606 nm), with ±0.01 nm accuracy and 0.01 nm tuning resolution. The instrument excels at emulating ITU-T channels for dense WDM applications, enabling multiwavelength network simulations, EDFA characterization with simultaneous multiple inputs, and insertion loss measurements of DWDM passive components. Output power reaches +13 dBm or 10 dBm at the connector with ±0.3 dB uncertainty and a 10 dB attenuation range.
